Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by the Unplanned Mom School blog. I’m guessing that the chances are pretty great that you searched and were stumbling to find someone that has been right where you are now.
Even though we haven’t officially met, I’m thankful we crossed paths.
So what exactly is the Unplanned Mom School…
The Unplanned Mom School is for women who need encouragement and support to move through an unplanned pregnancy.
You have a profound (all-knowing) intuition and believe that this pregnancy is the key to figuring out precisely who you are – even though the timing isn’t ideal.
Inside the Unplanned Mom School, we work on breathing life into your finances, the internal power God has given you, and the love that is already inside you for your unborn child.
You may be feeling fearful and unsure of what your future holds but ultimately, you know deep down inside that this child belongs to be here. Because you are facing an unplanned pregnancy doesn’t mean you no longer deserve the utmost happiness and fullfilling life of your dreams.
I know all of this – because I have been where you are!
My name is Ashley, and I faced an unplanned pregnancy at twenty-one. I see now that I was affected by the disease of alcoholism. I was confused and longed for purpose and meaning in my life, but I didn’t know how to give that to myself.
So instead, I drank - way too much. I tolerated and put up with unhealthy behaviors because I didn’t know how much the disease had impacted me and my ability to be in a loving relationship.Through the years, I have learned to love myself and look honestly at how my past impacted my life decisions. It is my mission to share what I know with you. It is my passion to walk alongside and serve you.
To be the big sister in your life that I wish I would have had then.
Someone to confide in, and share their experience, strength, and hope with you.
To know that it’s OK to be excited about this unexpected blessing.
To walk tall and feel confident when you start to tell people that you are pregnant.
To share financial inspiration and tools that will set you up for success.
This space is about bringing us together.
This space is the one that I wish I would have had when I was facing my unplanned pregnancy while in college. It's a confidential and private space to come together to share our stories with one another to spark ideas to cheer each on and push us forward to have our babies and go forth and live our best lives. Ultimately, I want to empower you to follow your intuition.
God has given you everything you need; you just need someone to light the path for you.
