You are a beautiful soul. And one beautiful soul to another - I can't wait to introduce you to positive psychologist Clare Deacon.

I want to kick things off by saying that sometimes life can be hard, and it's okay to admit that. No matter how big or small you perceive what's happening - it's your story, your feelings, and there is no right or wrong answer.

Clare has experienced extreme tragedy and shared with her three children that their daddy died overnight. Her last memory is of him tucking their children into bed that night, and just a few weeks prior, they had been together as a family in Disney World. Don't just take it from me that this woman has turned her tragedy into her purpose. Here are a few things we learned from our discussion with Clare…

Remember when you've overcome adversity in your life and what lessons you learned.

You don't need to give up - you need to give in and feel your feelings.

Everyone around you is fighting their own battles. Be kind to them.

No matter the tragedy, you can always thrive.

She lives with her children in Buckinghamshire in the UK, with a passion for learning, music, sound baths, and meditation. She overcame adversity herself after the unexpected death of her husband, set out on a journey of recovery with a mission to not just survive but to thrive, and is determined to live her best life.
